OSPROV can require users to provide reasons when publishing form changes, creating a comprehensive audit trail. When enabled by administrators, this feature prompts users to document why changes are being made every time a form is published or updated.

When Change Reasons Apply​

If your administrator has enabled the change reason requirement, you'll be prompted to provide reasons when:

  • Publishing a draft form for the first time
  • Publishing updates to an existing published form
  • Creating new versions of forms

If change reasons are not required, you'll see a regular publish button that publishes forms immediately without prompting for a reason.
